A Triple Scoop of Second Grade

Do you teach second grade?

Today I am featuring 3 products to get you started this school year.  So look below to find out the "scoop"...after all, don't all teachers deserve a "sweet treat"?

The first product is my Back to School Close Reading Activities.  This product is a great way to give students the opportunity to practice reading and comprehension during the first week or so back to school. The activities provide practice with both fiction and non-fiction.

The second product I have to showcase is my Back to School Sentence Scrambles. These easy prep activities are perfect for independent practice.  The activities allow you to increase difficulty level as needed.  For example, once students unscramble the sentence and write it on their recording sheet, they could be instructed to find different parts of speech and highlight them different colors.  The possibilities are endless.

Hello Friends!

Are you still enjoying summer? or have you already returned back to school?  I officially have a week and a half left of summer!  This time of year is always bittersweet.

The downside:
- no more sleeping late
- no more laid back days to do as I wish
- no more staying up late (I am absolutely a night owl)

The upside:
- getting back into a routine
- the excitement that a new school year brings
- new school supplies (I am crazy about a beautiful brand new pack of crayons)
****and most importantly
